ANTHROPOCENE: The Human Epoch

A cinematic meditation on humanity's massive re-engineering of the planet, ANTHROPOCENE: The Human Epoch is a four-years-in-the-making feature documentary film from the multiple-award-winning team of Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier, and Edward Burtynsky. Opens in Toronto theatres September 28 and in select cities across Canada October 5. 

ANTHROPOCENE: The Human Epoch is the third documentary in a trilogy that includes Manufactured Landscapes and Watermark. All three films will be screened at the AGO's Jackman Hall this fall.

The AGO's weekly celebration of art for all ages launches with a program inspired by the exhibtion, Anthropocene.

The AGO's FREE After Three programming is the place to be for youth ages 14 to 25. Participate in workshops led by local artists and community builders including tie-dying, screenprinting, hip hop dancing and more.

For the third year running, the Art Gallery of Ontario will play host to 6 Degrees Toronto. Presented by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, 6 Degrees drives a global conversation on citizenship and inclusion through three days of lectures, discussions and more.Tickets are available here.
