After almost two decades, Ronnie Fieg and adidas Originals reprise their partnership to introduce a new iteration of Fieg's first-ever adidas silhouette—the Black Tie Superstar.

In 2008, during his time at department store David Z., Ronnie Fieg and adidas Originals released their first collaboration, the adidas Originals Superstar "Black Tie", with the intention to take a new approach to the model, which would allow it to be dressed up or down. Over fifteen years later, Ronnie Fieg and adidas Originals present a new iteration of the same silhouette, this time, handmade in Germany and crafted from premium leather. Kith branding can be found on the tongue of the model, with a satin &Kin label as a nod to Kith's elevated collection
