March 20, 2020 Visit Us | More Exhibitions | More Events | Support Us | Accessibility | Membership | Museum Tours Dear ROM Family: With the enormity of the COVID-19 reality affecting every aspect of our lives, I want to write to you to express my concern and support during this unprecedented period. As you are aware, the ROM closed temporarily to the public starting on Saturday, March 14, 2020. We are currently slated to remain closed through at least Sunday, April 5. In this challenging time, it is deeply inspiring to see how our entire community of staff, volunteers, Members and visitors have come together to support Canada’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Museums play an important role in our lives. In the current period of societal stress, we are being asked to change our ways, but not the qualities that bind us to each other. Now more than ever, art, culture, and nature can lift our spirits, brighten our days and support our wellbeing. With that in mind, I invite you to visit our website, to explore the Museum and enjoy our robust online collections, as well as follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I am confident that we will emerge from this complicated new reality united and strong. Be well, be kind, and stay healthy. I look forward to seeing you all again at the ROM soon.
