Ukraine: Identities, Culture and Resilience

Land
New Release

In 2019, a team from ROM travelled to Ukraine to interview its people on their perspectives of identity and culture. Ukraine: Identities, Culture and Resilience is a ROM original, online experience highlighting those interviews in an authentic and powerful video series.

Ukraine, Europe's second largest country, sits on some of the most fertile soil in Europe. In Land, the latest release in the series, Ukrainians talk about their land – from its bounty in grain and regional farm production to the 1932-1933 Holodomor famine – and how these have shaped their connection between land, culture, and collective memory.
