Gods in My Home: Chinese New Year with Ancestor Portraits and Deity Prints

Bringing together Chinese ancestral paintings and traditional popular prints, this ROM original exhibition examines the unexplored connection between these two seemingly separate genres in the context of Chinese Lunar New Year.

Celebrate Chinese New Year and the opening of the ROM original exhibition, Gods in My Home with a lively New Year's Lion Dance followed by a rare concert performance by Chinese erhu virtuoso George Gao. 
Being Japanese Canadian: reflections on a broken world

Explore a series of artworks interspersed throughout the Sigmund Samuel Gallery of Canada, and encounter personal perspectives on the exile, dispossession, and internment of Japanese Canadians during the 1940s.
