YOUR TICKET TO DISCOVERY
Exploring the surrounding areas of Toronto, ROMBus offers day trips with historic, architectural, or cultural themes. Comfortable buses, fascinating information, and friendly fellow travellers set these outings apart.

ROMBus is organized by the Royal Ontario Museum’s Department of Museum Volunteers to provide support for the Museum.
St. Jacobs and the Mennonites
Saturday, June 15; 8:30 am - 8:30 pm

Come to St. Jacobs for an in-depth visit to an Old Order Mennonite community as well as a chance to browse some of the town’s quaint shops. 
Port Dover: Pinot, Perch & Play
Tuesday, July 9; 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Join us for a Lake Erie adventure with a tour of a lavender farm and winery, and Port Dover's specialty – a fresh perch lunch with all the trimmings.
Anchors Aweigh!
Wednesday, August 14; 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Dine aboard the historic RMS Wenonah II on majestic Lake Muskoka. Then explore the Discovery Centre and shop the local artisan market. 
Canada's Treasured Waterway

Spend a delightful day in Peterborough and delve into the city’s heritage with a cruise along the Trent-Severn Waterway. 
Grimsby: A Hidden Gem

Head to the shores of Lake Ontario and explore Grimsby Beach. This tour traces the beache's history from a Methodist church camp to a modern-day community, and includes the very unusual, hidden community of cottages near the shore.
A Taste of Indian and Sri Lankan Culture and Textiles

Open your eyes and imagination to Hindu beliefs and practices on our guided tour through BAPS Shri Swaminarayam Mandir Temple's vast and majestic interior. Your day includes a sumptuous lunch and so much more.
Cross-Cultural Christmas Traditions

Explore diverse Christmas traditions, from one of the largest collections of Nativity crèches at the St. James Cathedral Nancy Mallet Archives and Museum to the hand-painted icons at St. George’s 1st Greek Orthodox Church.
